Sofuku 

 

◇Sofuku started her career when she was in college as painter also as artist who has been producing the indoor /outdoor spaces based on her unique imagination inspired by “tea ceremony” .After graduation her creation expanded to various shapes including painting, photography, object, jewelry,  party space produce, paper cutout animation production, and chirdrens workshops of 2D/3D art. 

 

◇Sofuku Lee makes her  artwork from the source with  Inspiration from nature and her original cosmic view.In addition, she express “tea ceremony” and “ incense -smelling ceremony” that is traditional culture in Japan as an installation by  unique way to feel and enjoy It  at indoor/outdoor.

In late years she does a product design and the illustration widely.

 

◇born in 1977 in Yamagata Japan

BFA in painting from Nippon University of art.  

2002 study abroad in Soul in Korea.

2003 emigrate to Okinawa.

2008 after marriage  emigrate toTokyo.

2011 emigrate to Izu Oshima. deliver four children, 

         absent from artist activity for children’s care.

2016 participate in a group exhibition in N.Y.

         reopen  creative activities little by little.
